Tell me more about the vinyl and audio quality in Blue Note Review.
Great question! For Volume 2, we’ve brought in ‘Tone Poet’ Joe Harley, co-founder and co-producer of the acclaimed Music Matters audiophile vinyl series to supervise the vinyl mastering and manufacturing of Blue Note Review. All the music here was mastered for vinyl by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and vinyl was manufactured at Record Technology Incorporated (RTI).
The two reissues in Volume 2 are all-analog, 180-gram audiophile quality releases. Mastering was done directly from the original master tapes.
The compilation album was recorded and mastered for 180-gram audiophile vinyl in Hi-Resolution digital audio (96kHz/24 bit).
